HRA is committed to protecting the privacy of all our members and to compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which come into force on 25th May 2018.

What information do we collect?
HRA collects names, emails and postal addresses (and sometimes telephone numbers) from new and existing members. This data is stored in a Gmail account, in the subscription books we use to record your annual subscriptions and donations, and on a spreadsheet which is only accessible by members of the HRA Committee and stored by them on normal password-protected household computers.

Sending email
The new GDPR regulations mean that we need to have your permission to send you emails. Prior to 25th May, HRA will therefore be contacting all residents to ask for this consent. Should you wish to unsubscribe from future mailings, please contact highamsra@gmail.com

How we use your data
Email addresses are used to send notices about various HRA matters and events, including neighbourhood watch alerts. Subscription books are used to record your annual subscriptions and donations.

Your data is not, and will not, be shared with any third party without your written consent, unless we are required to do so by law.
